| OK it took some nerve to ask you guys but how in The world do you remove these shifters? I have searched and located somewhere that these twist apart and the easiest way is to put the bolt back into the shifter and the transmission linkage. I have tried that and cranked down on the upper section where the shifter knob is attached and it hasn't budged. My goal is to replace it with a Z1 shifter but I don't want to destroy the Stillen getting it out So for those that have removed these any suggestions or even words of encouragement would help. I have to admit that I only have looked at it briefly but generally I'm not this challenged for what should be a relatively simple process Thanks for looking!
